Direction of Use
- Place the CRYOCURE™ in the freezer compartment of the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Take the CRYOCURE™ out of the freezer and apply some Vaseline (White Petroleum Jelly) on the stick and around the anus.
- Lie on your side and insert the thinner portion of the CRYOCURE™ stick into the anus up until the broader side of the stick.
- Let the CRYOCURE™ remain inside the anus for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the CRYOCURE™ stick from the anus and clean it with water and soap.
- Put the CRYOCURE™ stick back inside the case and leave it in the freezer for at least 2 hours before reusing.
Important Note:
After use, always clean the CRYOCURE™ with water and soap only.

Can the CRYOCURE™ break?
No, in principle it cannot break unless it has fallen or if someone sits or stands on it. Use should be normal and not misuse the device. The CRYOCURE™ does not contain any harmful materials. The CRYOCURE™ is made of high-grade medical plastic.
How long does the CRYOCURE™ remain cold?
The CRYOCURE™ is already 85% cooled after about 15 minutes after removal from the freezer. When used appropriately, the CRYOCURE™ can stay cold for at least 4 minutes without damaging the rectal mucosa. With longer application, the temperature is gradually adjusted to the body temperature. The CRYOCURE™ can then be reused after 4 hours in the freezer.
Tip: To reduce pain and discomfort, apply the CRYOCURE™ during the initial stages of hemorrhoid swelling.
How often can I use the CRYOCURE™?
The CRYOCURE™ can be used multiple times per day. We recommend up to 3–4 applications per day. However, if needed, the CRYOCURE™ can be used more often. Clinical tests confirm that frequent use of the CRYOCURE™ in the case of hemorrhoid discomfort is safe.
Cleaning the CRYOCURE™
After use, simply wash the CRYOCURE™ with water and soap, then put it back in the freezer immediately in the special packaging. After 2 hours, it is ready for reuse. With good hygiene, there is no risk of bacterial or viral infections associated with using the CRYOCURE™.
Does the CRYOCURE™ have an expiry date?
Yes. The CRYOCURE™ can be reused for longer than 3 months if properly taken care of. We recommend replacing it every 3 months for safety reasons (to avoid damage or hygiene issues).
What is the common mistake made by the user of CRYOCURE™?
The most frequent mistake is that the freezer compartment of the refrigerator is too warm. The CRYOCURE™ must be cooled down to –18°C (0°F). To achieve this, the CRYOCURE™ should be placed in the freezer for at least 2 hours before use. Another frequent mistake is incorrect hygiene, which may lead to unnecessary infections. Always clean the CRYOCURE™ before and after every use.
Is CRYOCURE™ safe during pregnancy?
Yes. CRYOCURE™ is safe and approved for use during pregnancy. It provides safe and effective treatment of hemorrhoids during this period. The CRYOCURE™ should be used with a maximum of 20 minutes per use, and the cold treatment can harm your delicate genital area, so avoid direct contact.
